Depois de ganhar o AMA de melhor álbum de R&B e depois ganhar o premio de artista Soul do ano, Usher ganhou mais um premio importantíssimo neste final de semana.
Pelo Soul Train Awards realizado pelo canal americano BET (Black Entertainment Television), Usher ganhou o prêmio de Álbum do Ano com "Raymond V Raymond". Essa com certeza foi uma volta triunfal do cantor lembrando que em 2008 o seu álbum "Here I Stand" foi um fracasso em vendas e criticas.
Um fato curioso foi na entrega do premio de Melhor Artista R&B do Ano, onde foi anunciado um empate entre Trey Songz e Usher.
A cantora Alicia Keys também foi destaque na noite. Ela levou 2 prêmios para casa, incluindo a de Musica do Ano com "Unthinkable (I'm Ready)".
